The McQueen of Trash

Alexander McQueen created a “trashy” production for Paris Fashion Week, the creepy models reminiscent of Coralines other mother, sauntered on top of heaps of junky old props from past shows, wearing remnants of umbrellas and aluminum cans on their heads.

Now some of you may remember the trash assignment on Project Runaway, Alexander McQueen definitely has one-upped all those creations.Mr. McQueen remarked about his show, “This whole situation is such a cliché. The turnover of fashion is just so quick and so throwaway, and I think that is a big part of the problem. There is no longevity.”

I wonder if this part of a new trend in eco-friendly fashion or just designer trash talking.
