cartoon love

Perhaps, the simplicity of many cartoons is what makes them seem so honest and so funny. I came upon the work of andre jordan on another blog and I love it. It' s simple stuff, expressed really well. See the site for more great work and even a book.

I often find myself reading the New Yorker, cartoons first, the hard stuff later.   In my opinion, stick figures have a tendency to stick.Cartoons, especially the visually simplistic ones often tell stories better then real life does. A stick figure can represent anyone that's what makes it effective. To this day, one of my favorite Ad campaigns is all simple line drawings.
