Equipped with paint, buckets, rollers and construction vests, people from all walks of Manhattan Life took to the streets this Saturday as a part of The Public Ad Campaign. An effort coordinated in part by the Department of Buildings, the teams sought to clear the city of illegal outdoor billboards. Several artists joined in and got creative with the whitewashing process.
