After yesterdays rant about costly museums, I came upon HOMU online. The artist behind the Homeless Museum of Art, wanted to create a space that is both a critique and parody of museums. A space he could live, work, and exhibit in. I think the idea is pretty awesome, and the artist pretty strange. I was all set to go visit, the Brooklyn Heights location, but it may or may not be closed. Either way it's worth taking a look at.
Pretty cool!
