past and present

Over the weekend, I found a book of old photographs of Brooklyn Neighborhoods, that actually included several photos of my block. My neighborhood has a lot of buildings that are preserved for historic purposes, so much of the original building features are still retained. However, it's always interesting to see the past juxtaposed with the present. I came upon these images over at flickr and would love to do something similiar with the buildings in my neighborhood.
