Your Tate Tracks

Using music as a vehicle the Tate Modern invited young people to interact with art. Fallon
invited several prominent music artists — including Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Graham Coxon from Blur, and more — to walk around the museum and find a piece of art that inspired them to write a music track. To listen to the created tracks, 16-24 year olds, had to come to museum and experience them side by side with the art that spurred. All together, creating an interactive experience that literally brought people into the space. Very smart stuff.

  1. Very cool. There's a struggling art museum just down the street from me-- I wonder if they could get some inspiration from this.

Thanks for following me, by the way. I just got around to visiting. Love it.
